I am the owner and baker for OhtheCakery. Cooking has been apart of my life since I was a kid. From being in the kitchen to help cook to being the “cook” amongst my friends and family. The kitchen is my happy place. It always brings me peace and a sense of accomplishment when I’m there. If I’m not eating, I can most likely be found in the kitchen. I believe that food is one of my love languages, whether it’s feeding people or myself.

Baking started as me just trying to destress and share my love with people. I’d bring desserts to work all the time just because, and it felt great to change someones mood from first bite. Eventually this passion continued to grow and I am a believer in making a career out of what you love, at that point it’s no longer work. I love what I do, and I love even more that I can spread my love through baking with so many more people.

One day I hope to be able to use my business in a way that gives back to the community. I strongly believe that sometimes people, especially our youth, just need someone willing to take a chance on them. So when ordering from me, it won’t just be to further my business. It will be to help give back to our youth and communities.
